If your looking to upgrade your exhaust system on a Holden Commodore VE-VF Sedan-Ute-Wagon or a Redline V8 Fitted with a supercharger, the information on this page might be helpful. I've fittted all the differant brands of exhaust systems on the Commmodore models, by far the Pacemaker exhaust system is the only one i would fit if one of these cars was my own car. With the 4-1 Tuned headers placed on the head and the bolts finger tight there is minimal movement up or down. Some of the headers i've fitted you can move the headers up and down by a few inches which means the ports could be out of alignment. The headers clear starter motor easily, not resting against the heat shielding like some some brands. The genuine pacemaker catalytic converters also fit perfectly, the inlet is 3" to match the header outlets, the catalytic outlets are also 3" to match the exhaust system. Pacemaker have even taken the time to concaved the face of the inlet of the catalytic converters to allow extra flow. As for the Pacemaker exhaust system, it fits perfectly, no slotted flange plates to deal with, no hammer or leavers required, no misalignment of the mounting points, just perfect. To top it off the sound is also perfect, a quality sound without being loud. The pacemaker exhaust is a little more costly than some brands but worth every cent. | |||
